The new Lay ad spot has former NFL Running Back Marshawn Lynch reading the Night Before Kickoff (A spoof on the Night Before Christmas). The commercial shows several NFL Players getting ready for bed the night before kickoff while enjoying Frito Lay snacks as Lynch narrates.
The commercial stars NFL greats Rob Gronkowski and Dallas Cowboys teammates Dak Prescott and Zeke Elliot. The extended version also features Tony Romo and 49ers offensive assistant Katie Sowers.
Rob Gronkowski is eating Tostitos and wearing Tostitos pajamas. However, It’s somewhat notable that Tom Brady appears in his scene with no Frito Lay products and no branding at all.
Cowboy Teammates Dak Prescott and Zeke Elliot are seen sleeping in bunk beds and sharing some Doritos.
