How to Watch NFL RedZone Online, Mobile, or TV Connected Device (Legally)

Looking for ways you can watch NFL RedZone either online or on your tablet or mobile device? Here’s a list of available ways to watch even if you don’t have a cable TV subscription. 

NFL RedZone was a revelation to NFL football fans when it hit the airways a few years ago. NFL RedZone offers live “whip-around” coverage of every Sunday afternoon NFL Game between 1:00 PM ET and 8:00 PM ET for the entire regular season. The NFL Red Zone coverage constantly jumps around the NFL to offer live look-ins to NFL game whenever any team enters the Red Zone, or threatens to score. It’s commercial free, and during the few breaks in the action they show highlights, analysis and stats of the days games.

Watch NFL Red Zone Online With Certain TV Providers

Currently, if you are a cable tv subscriber with a participating TV provider, and you have purchased the NFL RedZone as part of your subscription, you can use your login credentials from those providers to authenticate and and watch the NFL RedZone online.  This will allow you to view in the browser, or via the Watch NFL Network iPad and tablet app, or on any mobile device by installing the NFL App.

One very notable omission is Comcast Xfinity (as of late 2018). If you are a Xfinity customer with NFL RedZone, you can log in and watch on the Xfinity Stream app. Although, it likely will limit you to viewing only in your own home.


NFLSUNDAYTICKET.TV is available through DirecTV to anyone who cannot get NFL Sunday Ticket at their current residence. For subscribers of the “Max” package, NFL RedZone is including in the deal. Subscribers of NFLSUNDAYTICKET.TV MAX can watch the RedZone on a variety of TV connected devices and mobile apps. The price of the MAX package in 2018 is just under $400 for the year. They do usually reduce the price at various times during the season. So, if it’s not something you’ll use much until later in the season, it may make sense to wait for a price drop.

Subscribe to the NFL RedZone on Mobile

Mobile users can subscribe to the NFL RedZone for $4.99 per month. This subscription applies to all mobile users, but only allow you to watch on mobile. You can’t use this subscription to watch on larger screens.

NFL RedZone on Streaming TV Services

Currently, only 3 of the Streaming TV  Services have an option to subscribe to the NFL RedZone. All of these options come as part of an Sports package add-on. Meaning you’ll be paying extra for NFL RedZone on top of the base subscription package. Any of these options will allow you to watch on TV connected devices as well as mobile.

Sling Blue with the Sports Extra package $25 + $10 for the sports package.

Playstation Vue requires Core, Elite or Ultra Plan  (Core starts at $49.99+ $10 Sports Pack)

FuboTV with the regular ($39.99) or Extra ($49.99) package and the Sports Plus package for $8.99 per month.


There is no pure stand alone version of NFL RedZone allowing you to watch on any device. Watching on mobile is really the only stand alone option. On the plus, side there are a growing number of options that allow you to watch NFL RedZone online with a variety of devices.
