Overview

So which show is the best? That really depends on the individual and what you are looking for in a Fantasy Football pregame show.

Fantasy Fix has been around now for a few years and I grew to like it when it was about the only option to watching traditional network pregame shows. However, I’ve begun to switch over to ESPN since the debut of Fantasy Football Now. Fantasy Fix is more of a call-in / ‘”who should I start” type show. It does give breaking news too, but it’s focus is on the callers and their questions. I’m a “Just give me the facts and I’ll win or lose based on my own decisions” kinda guy, so I’m not as interested in “Who should I start” questions. I just want the last minute injury updates and other such news. ESPN’s Fantasy Football Now tends to focus more on analysis and news.

I haven’t spent much time watching the show yet, but I really like CBSSports.com’s chat feature and user-friendly inactives report. I also haven’t watched enough Yahoo to form a strong opinion, but the embedding of their show right on your Yahoo Fantasy team page is a fantastic idea. Since some of these shows air at different times, you can check out more than one, at least for part of the show, and decide which one suits you best.
