Lenny Dykstra Talks “Nutrients,” “Vitamins,” Charlie Sheen on the Dan Patrick Show (Video)
Before the era when Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa, and Mark McGwire developed Hulk-like physiques and started bashing home runs like they were pop-outs, there was Lenny Dykstra. The scrappy centerfielder that went from skinny to ripped in what seemed like the blink of an eye.
Former Phillies and Mets Centerfielder appeared on the Dan Patrick Show this morning, which was guest hosted by long time Philadelphia radio talk show host and media personality Howard Eskin.
In the video below, you’ll see Eskin try to coax Dykstra into talking about steroids, to which Lenny continuously refers to as “vitmins” or “nutrients.” Dystra then goes on to expain that
“You have a chance to make millions and millions of dollars, ok…if you can perform. If you cant perform they fire you and they say you go home and get a real job. So whatever it is you have to do, you do.”
“If it’s not legal and they’re going to test you for it, you better be careful…”
Dykstra also talks about his relationship with Charlie Sheen and answers some questions about his finances. You can listen to the full audio portion of the Lenny Dykstra interview here at danpatrick.com. Just click on the audio player at the top of the post.by
