TNT & TBS Live Streaming Sports Available Online and on iOS

Turner Networks have announced live streaming of both TBS and TNT online and via iOS devices. This live streaming will include plenty of live sports broadcasts.

According to the press release (via Fangbites) live sports content will include:

…TNT’s award–winning coverage of the NBA, including the regular season, playoffs and All–Star Weekend; TBS’s regular–season and playoff coverage of Major League Baseball; and both network’s coverage of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship.

No official mention of either PGA or NASCAR (which will air some races on TNT through 2014 before moving to NBC), but I can’t see why they wouldn’t be included. Especially the PGA which already live streams pretty much live streams every tournament already.

So, where  can you watch?

The TNT and TBS live streams will be available through and, as well as through the networks’ newly created iPhone/iPad apps, with additional platforms added by the end of the year. The free Watch TNT and Watch TBS apps will be made available just prior to the live–streaming launch. To watch the live streams, viewers will be required to log in using their cable/satellite–provider account information.

The apps are now available in the App Store, so go forth and download. You’ll need to have a TV subscription that includes TNT and/or TBS, and authenticate with your user credentials to watch.
