Overview

The Android version costs $2.99, but comes with live video of the event. iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad versions are free with a $2.99 upgrade charge to view the live video. If you’d like to watch the NYC Marathon on your computer you can do so for free at UniversalSports.com.

You are supposed to be able to log in via Facebook, Twitter, or Yahoo, but when trying to log in with Twitter I found myself in an endless log in loop that even after authentication just threw me back to another log in screen.

Also keep in mind that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life of your device.

Cost: iOS (Free) / Android ($2.99)
