ESPN Sunday NFL Countdown 2011 Intro

ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown has a new opening that features music by Joe Walsh. This is a great piece that shows TJ breaking down film, Ditka smoking a cigar, Cris Carter going through some wide receiver drills, Keyshawn getting fitted for a suit, Mort & Adam Schefter walking through the IT room with cell phone, and Berman reading a leatherbound copy of a book called ESPN Sunday NFL Countdown 2011.

Classic rock fans may be thinking, “Hey, this sounds very similar to the Joe Walsh classic “Funk #49.” While the Walsh tunes Funk #48 and Funk #49 were both considered for the opening, this song, called Funk #50,  is a new recording by Walsh done specifically for the ESPN Sunday NFL Countdown opening.
