Philadelphia Eagles Official Mobile App for iPhone

Are you a die hard Philadelphia Eagles fan? The team has just released a new Official Team app just in time for the 2011 NFL season.

The app is produced by the folks at YinzCam who have also produced a handful of other top notch apps for NFL Teams like Atlanta and Tampa Bay. This app follow the same format as those other apps with a Home screen with the latest game information, news , and media, with pop-up navigation options.

All the news articles and updates are nicely formatted for mobile. The interactive depth chart is very slick and one of our favorite features.

You’ll also get stats, schedule, standings, and loads of multimedia including videos, audio, and photos.

Videos include press conferences, interviews and other features.

When the Eagles released a Team NFL draft app last spring I figured it was a bit of a trial balloon for an eventual full fledged team app. That draft app was complete junk and I’m glad to see the team has turned to YinzCam to develop their new official team app. There really isn’t much to dislike about the app. I’d like to see a full roster in addition to the depth chart, transactions, and a Twitter feed of all current players and team account as opposed (or in addition to) the current Twitter feed that just displays Tweets with #eagles. Some might also like the ability to get alerts. No word (yet) on an Android version.

Download Eagles Official Mobile from iTunes or the App Store.
